Later, to Swayambhunath stupa or also known as the ‘Monkey Temple’, the world’s most glorious Buddhist Stupa of over 2,000 years standing on a hillock at a majestic height of 77m.It is a pilgrimage site for Hindus, Vajrayana Buddhists and Newari Buddhists. The complex of Swyambhunath Stupa is surrounded by the many other Hindu & Buddhist shrines. This site also commands an excellent view of the Kathmandu Valley.

Drive then to Pokhara, a place of remarkable landscape against the Annapurna Range. Enroute lunch at local restaurant for tourists. Continue then drive to Pokhara.
POKHARA VALLEY
Pokhara valley is one of the most picturesque spots of Nepal. The beauty of Pokhara is enhanced by its lovely lakes, which have their source in the glacial region of the Annapurna range of the Himalayas. Situated 200 KM west of Kathmandu at an altitude of 827 meter from the sea level, for the mountain viewers Pokhara offers a magnificent view of Dhaulagiri, Machapuchre (Fishtail), five peaks of Annapurna and others. Pokhara is the only place in the world to provide such a dramatic view in a sub-tropical setting. Machapuchre, for example, is only 28 km from Phewa Lake and not a single mountain range intervenes between the two
PHEWA LAKE
Phewa Lake, the second largest lake of Nepal, is the center of all attraction in Pokhara. It is the largest and most enchanting of the three lakes that add to the resplendence of Pokhara. Here, one can sail or row a hired boat across to the water or visit the island temple in its middle. The eastern shore, popularly known as lakeside or Baidam, is the favorite home base for trekkers & travellers

Dinner and overnight at the Hotel
Rise early to take a sunrise excursion trip to Sarangkot,provides a relaxing and breathtaking views of the mountains on one side and Phewa Lake on the other which takes about 40 minutes' drive and short hike to rich the point (subject to weather) It is one of the best places to witness sunrise & sunset view which reflect to the snowcapped Himalayas of Annapurna range including Fishtail ( Machhapuchhre ), Dhaulagiri, Himchuli etc. Return to hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour to Pokhara. Visit Gupteshwore Cave, where you will find a statue of the Hindu God, Shiva. It is said that this statue formed naturally by the following waters of the cave. Also visit the David’s Fall where you can see a waterfall appearing from nowhere into many pools and finally disappearing after flowing through small cascades into cracks in the ground. Visit Bindhyabasini Temple and Seti River gorge.
Late afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake set against a fish-tail summit Rising over 6,900 m.
Dinner and overnight at the Hotel
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu which is 200 Km and it might take approximate 7 hours scenic drive. Driving along side of few famous rivers, Seti, Marsyangdi and Trisuli river the sources of which are the Himalayas. Its obvious that you will be stopped in few places for washroom use and refreshment. Upon arrival in Kathmandu by late Afternoon check in at Hotel. Leisure on your own.
Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu
Before or after breakfast, transfer to the most holiest temple of Pashupatinath, a form of lord Shiva, the majestic temple with golden roof. It is considered as being amongst the most sacred and important Hindu pilgrim center. Located at the bank of the Bagmati River, perform Puja in the temple or make short visit of it depending on your interest. Here as being the holiest places of Kathmandu and existed the Pashupati Ghat and many would like to be cremated in such sacred place, so while visiting the Temple and around one can witness also cremations are taking place outside the temple premises at the bank of the river. The temple was classified as a World Heritage Site in 1979.
